Os processos cognitivos de atenção e percepção: Suas relações com a execução, a observação e o aprendizado na dança

Resumo

O objetivo do presente trabalho é discutir os processos cognitivos subjacentes
envolvidos na criação, execução, ensino e observação da dança, considerando a psicologia
cognitiva, a aquisição de conhecimentos e o comportamento não-verbal através do estudo
aprofundado das habilidades da atenção e percepção dos movimentos corporais. A
abordagem se baseia em noções de cognição discutidas por Matlin (2002), Matlin e Foley
(1997), Calvo-Merino et al. (2006), Rizzollatti et al. (2001) e Rizzollatti (2005). Implicações
que envolvem tais processos cognitivos nas tarefas de dança serão discutidas.
