Resumo

Diferentes estratégias de aproveitamento de técnicas corporais díspares são analisadas a partir das composições de renomados coreógrafos na história da Dança Moderna e da Dança Pós-Moderna, bem como da experiência do próprio autor no estudo da Dança na academia. Essas técnicas são aqui nomeadas por revista, fusão e ecletismo.

Biografia do Autor

Joshua Monten, Universidade de Berna

Ensina dança na Universidade de Bern, na Suíça. Bacharel em Literatura e Antropologia Cultural (Duke University / Estados Unidos) e Mestre em Performance e História da Dança (Ohio University / Estados Unidos). Como bailarino atuou junto a vários coreógrafos na Europa, como StijnCelis, HofeshShechter, e Tino Sehgal. Frequentemente colabora como coreógrafo para produções de ópera e teatro e dirige sua própria companhia, situada na Suíça.
