Giorgio Strehler: percurso e formação de um encenador

Resumo

RESUMO: Esta pesquisa investiga na trajetória do encenador italiano Giorgio Strehler (1921-1997) os procedimentos efetivos para a elaboração de suas encenações e metodologias recorrentes na sua formação artística. O estudo concentra-se na identificação de elementos da tradição teatral, sua atualização e ressignificação nas diversas experimentações cênicas realizadas por Strehler sobre obras de William Shakespeare. Com isto busca-se identificar a trajetória de formação deste encenador.

ABSTRACT: This research investigates in the trajectory of the Italian director Giorgio Strehler (1921-1997) the effective procedures of his creative staging processes, and recurrent methodologies on his artistic training. The study focuses on identifying elements of theatrical tradition, its updating and reframing in the context of the various scenic experiments conducted by Strehler based on works of William Shakespeare. With this we seek to identify the trajectory of formation of this director.
