O interculturalismo no Théâtre du Soleil.

Resumo

RESUMO: Este resumo expandido trata da relação intercultural exercida pelo Théâtre du Soleil no processo criativo do espetáculo Tambours sur la digue criado em 1999. Focamos nossa discussão nos princípios norteadores que levaram à criação deste espetáculo e nas ideias de “arte clássica”, “descoberta artística” e “evidência teatral” que guiam a abordagem intercultural realizada pela companhia.

ABSTRACT: This extended abstract deals with the intercultural relations exercised by Théâtre du Soleil in the creative process of their 1999 play "Tambours sur la Digue" ("Drums on the Dike"). Our discussion is focused on the guiding principles that led to the creation of this play and on ideas such as "Classical Art", "Artistic Discovery" and "Dramatic Evidence" that lead the intercultural approach taken by the group.
