Mamulengos na cena contemporânea: reinvenção X tradição.

Resumo

RESUMO: A presença do mamulengo na cena das grandes cidades, por intermédio de companhias teatrais de migrantes, faz com que esse gênero de teatro de bonecos já não obedeça apenas aos valores de sua tradição. Esta pesquisa investiga convergências entre a comédia popular e a cena contemporânea, a partir dos conceitos de hibridação cultural e cultura urbana de Canclini.

ABSTRACT: The presence of the mamulengo in the scene of the big cities, by migrants theater companies, makes this kind of puppet theater no longer obey only the values of its tradition. This project aims to identify these interactions and convergences between popular theater and the contemporary scene using the concepts of cultural interbreeding and urban culture of Canclini.
